The Missing Picture is an immersive work in production that blends VR and generative AI to explore how images shape memory and emotion. Inside a 6DoF virtual environment, each visitor uploads a personal photo that becomes the seed of a journey shaped by emotional biofeedback, 360° footage, and AI-generated transformations. The system creates guided visual meditations, reconstructing and reinventing memories that appear and dissolve around the viewer. By merging real immersive scenes with AI-driven imagery, the work becomes both a technological experiment and an intimate reflection on our relationship with photography in the age of infinite images.
